Schuyler Kleinpeter is the Stewardship & Advancement Director at St. Pius X Catholic Church where she is responsible for implementing stewardship, communications and development initiatives for the parish. On a mission to support parish efforts in living out Christ’s mission in the St. Pius X community, she is focused on fostering stewardship as a way of life and creating awareness of the opportunities within the parish to do so. For Schuyler, supporting the efforts that allow parishioners to find the ministry or initiative that best utilizes their gifts is the most rewarding part of her job.

Prior to taking on his/her role at St. Pius X, Schuyler gained experience in in non-profit development and programming while serving local and national organizations in several different market areas. Over the last twenty-seven years, she has served in positions ranging from Grant Writer at the Children’s Museum of Houston to Newsletter Editor and Executive Director at two local chapters of the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Other Catholic affiliations include her role serving the Dioces of Lafayette and archdioceses of Galveston-Houston and New Orleans as a volunteer or employee.

In addition to serving St. Pius X since March of 2015, her professional affiliations include serving as a conference facilitator and committee member for the International Catholic Stewardship Council (ICSC). She is also a past award winner of ICSC’s parish stewardship renewal award. Schuyler received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Minor in English at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.  Schuyler’s main goal in life is to emulate Jesus’ servant heart and love of God and others in all areas of her life. Whether it’s shown through her
support of family and friends, volunteering or going over and beyond the call of duty at work, Schuyler’s passionate spirit shines through in all facets of her life.
