With over a decade of experience in youth ministry, James is excited to return to St. Pius X as the Parish and School Liaison for grades K-8. At the parish, James will oversee youth ministry for grades K-8th, including Young Saints (K-5th grade) and EDGE (6th-8th grade). At the school, James will work alongside Kristen Lazarine in campus ministry and Catholic identity formation, and also collaborate with his wife, Kristyn, in the elective music program for grades 5th-8th.
James’ dedication to his Catholic faith and Eucharistic spirituality is reflected in his excitement and commitment to fostering spiritual growth and evangelizing the students and their families at St. Pius. We are excited to have him join our team, along with Mary Hindelang and Reed Streva. James previously served as our Life Teen coordinator from 2018-2020, and we are thrilled to have him as part of our staff again. James and his wife Kristyn have been married for 12 years and have four children: Harper (9), Luca (7), Selah (5), and Rowen (3).
