Known as “Deacon Sammy”, is the supervisor and advisor over all Youth Faith Formation and the Safe Environment Coordinator at Saint Pius X. Ordained a Deacon for the Diocese of Lafayette on June 4, 2016, Deacon Sammy serves as a member of the Diocesan Committee for Social Justice, Prison Ministry and leads the PSR Edge Ministry.  Deacon Sammy is married to Jennifer Russo and father of Isabella and Tony.
