The Divine Mercy Ministry for the Dying is a unique prayer line that family or friends, who know of someone in imminent danger of death, can call and provide the name of the dying person. Dexcomm, St. Pius’ answering service, will answer the calls and then send a text/email to the prayer volunteers. A volunteer will acknowledge and immediately pray the Divine Mercy chaplet for the dying person.
The mission of this Ministry is to: shield the dying in God’s mercy; offer peace and compassion for the dying and their family/friends; obtain Jesus’ extraordinary promises when the chaplet is prayed for the dying.
Jesus told St. Faustina: “At the hour of their death, I defend as My own glory every soul that will say this chaplet; or when others say it for a dying person, the pardon is the same”…..“When they say this chaplet [for] the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person, not as the just Judge but as the Merciful Savior.”
