Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima Rosary

The Fatima Prayer Cell of Holiness is a weekly spiritual gathering for small group prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Members of the St. Pius X Blue Army meet on Wednesdays weekly after the Noon Mass in the St. Peter’s Room in the Church, and endeavor to grow in a spirit of reparation by responding to Our Lady’s request for prayer through the Rosary, penance and sacrifice in a spirit of reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and for the conversion of poor sinners. Thereby they work to bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and promised era of peace to mankind. For more information, please contact: Vivian Begnaud, Ministry Leader, at vwbeg@cox.net

Patriotic Rosary Group

As Jesus said, “Where two or more are gathered together in My name, there am I in their midst” (Matt 18:19-20). So, when we pray together, we invite Jesus into our lives where He grants us the strength, the light and grace to lead good lives. Prayer Groups, like the Patriotic Rosary Group are the basics that will sustain our spirits to keep our faith strong and alive. For more information, please contact: Anna Thibeaux, Ministry Leader, at 337-235-3322 This group meets each Tuesdays after the 12:05 p.m. Mass in the St. Peter Room of the Church.

Divine Mercy Sunday Veneration

The Divine Mercy Devotion although taking root in the late 1930’s has remained unknown to many Catholics until the past two decades. With the support of Pope John Paul II, the devotion has grown worldwide including here in the U.S.

Following the Pope’s lead, the Knights of Columbus chose to help spread this devotion to its Councils and their Parishes by sponsoring a year-long program of prayer in 2004. The hour of prayer replaced the customary Marian Hour of Prayer, held each year by the Knights of Columbus.

Our KC Council here at St. Pius continues to spread and encourage participation by our families in this devotion, especially the annual recitation of the novena beginning on Good Friday. Materials are also available for you to take home, share, discuss the details of this unique devotion, and pray the novena with your family beginning on Good Friday.
