Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
Interested in becoming a Catholic?
Any adult, teen or older child (above seven years of age) who has never been baptized and would like to enter the RCIA process in order to begin the journey in preparation for the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and First Eucharist), please call the Parish Office, to express your interest.
Your name, address and phone number will be taken so that Deacon Phil can schedule an interview with you. As Deacon begins he will further explain the details of the RCIA process.
Adult Catholics for First Eucharist or Confirmation:
If you are an adult Catholic who was baptized and for some reason never completed your Sacrament of Initiation (First Eucharist and/or Confirmation), you are invited into a process to help make that happen. Please call the Parish Office, 337.232.4656, and leave your name, address and phone number so at a later date Deacon can schedule an initial interview with you.
Volunteers needed to be a part of an RCIA Team!
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) needs members of the Pius parish community to be part of the Catechumenate team to journey with the candidates during their time of being in the process. If you would like to be a part of this process, Deacon will meet with you and train you in this ministry. Please call 337.232.4656 to speak to Deacon Phil.
