St. Pius Elementary School Annual Appeal

This year, we hope you will join in to support St. Pius X Church’s largest ministry, St. Pius Elementary School (SPES). St. Pius Elementary School is a place where confident and curious learners thrive in an environment that weaves the school's mission of bringing the presence of Christ to others into all aspects of daily life. SPES students are encouraged to grow spiritually and academically while fostering character-building traits such as sportsmanship, humility, and commitment through extra-curricular activities, service and volunteer opportunities, and athletic competition.

Each year, SPES seeks to enrich its learning community by providing new opportunities for students. Support from parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends through the annual SPES Fund allows SPES to invest in the tools that keep the educational experience modern and inspiring.

Because annual gifts are unrestricted, they can be used specifically to advance the school's mission and enhance all areas of the St. Pius Elementary experience. Your contribution directly supports an environment of academic excellence that will prepare students for a future filled with unlimited possibilities.

SPES’ 2023 Annual Fund will help to grow the ministry’s mission and dedication to the Catholic faith by updating the school auditorium, while providing a faith-filled learning environment where students can become positive and productive citizens. The SPES Auditorium is an integral part of the school community, hosting a variety of events including guest speakers, grade-level performances, school-wide initiatives, and more. This 374-seat space serves as a gathering place for parish and school communities and as an education tool unique to the school campus.

However, the time has come where SPES' auditorium space needs renovating and updating.  The main focus of this project includes upgrading the house and stage lighting as well as the sound and lighting board. By also installing a drop-down projection screen and a ceiling-mounted projector, SPES can enhance the technological capabilities of this shared space.

To complete this renovation project, SPES can allocate the first $50.000 of gifts to the SPES annual fund along with funds received through this iGive Catholic Campaign. With your help, SPES can fund these upgrades and enhance the school auditorium in a way that meets the ever-changing needs of students and the parish and school communities.
