Parish Council Elections 2022

We are happy to announce our Parish Council for the coming year.  The Parish
Council generally meets monthly and is comprised of a cross section of our community from parents of young children to those who are retired.  Members give input, advice and recommendations regarding matters relating to our parish community from their particular perspective.  Because of the number of nominations, an election was not necessary this year.  The following are the seven elected members of the council and the year their term expires:

Mr. Rob Guiterraz (May 2024)
Mrs. Angelle Pearce (May 2024)
Mr. John Deats (May 2025)
Mr. Phil Camel (May 2025)

In addition, the council has several ex officio members, including our Trustees (Mr. Bob Austin and Ms. Mary Anne Smith), our two full time deacons (Deacon Phil Lizotte and Deacon Sammy Russo) and our SPES Principal (Mrs. Kellie DesOrmeaux.  We thank them for their work on the council, as it has been most helpful to me in leading and guiding our parish in a way that fulfills the needs of all in the congregation.


Parish Council Elections
Nominations for Parish Council are being accepted now for the term beginning August of 2022. Parish Council members give input, advice and recommendations regarding matters relating to our parish community. Anyone may nominate themselves or another parishioner (with their permission). Nominees must be registered members of St. Pius X and submit a short biography and a photo. The term is three (3) years with the possibility of running for a second term. Annual terms begin in August and end in June. The Council generally meets once a month during the school year.  The deadline for nominations is Friday July 8, 2022.
