All parishioners are invited to engage in this experience. This website will provide opportunities and resources that will allow us to choose where we are feeling called; find something that interests us or that we may have never had the opportunity to experience. All our provided to allow us to learn about our faith, grow in faith and in our relationship with Jesus. The gift of the Eucharist is Jesus who desires to draw us into the mystery of receiving His Presence, allowing Him to heal us and transform us so we can bring His Presence to others. That is how we become the Body of Christ. The Eucharist is the Source and Summit of our Faith.
The National Eucharist Revival led by Bishop Cozzens has provided us with many resources from Augustine Institute and FORMED. Many were involved over the last three years working to create outstanding formation opportunities for all of us. Here are some of the sources:
The National Eucharist Revival website (https://www.eucharisticrevival.org/) provides many resources and information to explore.
The Diocese of Lafayette is providing resources for all of our parishes and opportunities for us to attend the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage and the National Eucharistic Congress.
Please take time to explore the Resources provided for us to learn, to grow, and experience Jesus in the Eucharist. On our own time, we can browse through the resources provided to find what speaks to us, or perhaps something we are not familiar with but are interested in. Let us pray for all parishioners to enter into this experience and share it with our community.
You can also explore other initiatives the Diocese is planning for the National Eucharistic Revival. More details on any of the below activities can be found on the Office of Worship website or at the Eucharistic Revival kiosk in the Gathering Area of St. Pius X Church.
You can start with the following resources that provide a general overview of this movement.
The above resources and more can be found at:
The resources below are for prayer groups as well as individuals. There are multiple sessions and are a deeper dive into scripture focusing on the Eucharist. Gather some friends or family to watch and share your insights. Some of you may have already read the books these sessions cover.
Take some time to think of any friends that might benefit from these resources. Maybe the Lord is calling you to help others to learn so much more about the Eucharist. Many adults have not had these opportunities before. This might also be a call for you to share your love of the Eucharist.
