As we learn from Scripture, the Lord has made each one of us with our own unique gifts for His intended purpose. He then calls us to use those gifts in some way to make a difference in the world, to make His creation a better place. The Call to Serve phase of the Call to Discipleship series asks us to reflect on these gifts and discern the purpose for which He wants us to use them. To prayerfully consider how we should respond to His call to serve, let’s ask the Holy Spirit to open our hearts to our Parish and community and in service of others. By answering His call to serve, let’s watch how we begin to grow more and more like Christ - with a genuineness of heart that is deeply motivated by our love for God and others. While acting in service and charity for the common good, may we find peace and bear witness to the many other fruits, knowing that our actions will not only bring glory to Him, but actively express our gratitude for all He has blessed us with.
After prayerfully considering where God may be calling you to serve, you can either fill out the online form below, or print a hard copy that can be submitted during any offertory collection at Mass or to the Parish Office.
Please note that some opportunities will ask you to indicate how often you'd like to serve (weekly or as a substitute). Once you decide, please indicate if you’re just signing up (New) or already serving (Current).
